A Great Location in a Quiet Area

“Our stay in this 2-story loft unit was fantastic! The unit is in a great location in a quiet area, it was very clean, and it has attractive island-style decor including some really nice framed prints of saltwater gamefish. From our balcony we watched porpoise and sea turtles swimming around in the marina and we also had a clear view of the action at the fishing dock/fish-cleaning station as well as the main dock and anchorage…and also the beautiful night sky. The first floor of this unit (which is actually one flight up from the ground) has a full kitchen (including microwave, coffee maker, tea kettle, toaster, blender, pots, pans, glasses, dishes, utensils, knife block), dining area, sitting area with couch, easy chair, cocktail table, console and large flat-screen TV, bathroom with shower, and balcony with table and four chairs. The upstairs loft has a very comfortable king bed, dresser and closet, large wall-mounted flat-screen TV, clock/charger on nightstand, and master bath with tub/shower and wall-mounted blow dryer with night light. Dish towels, bath towels and bed linens are provided; beach towels are also provided and picked up and exchanged at the reception office. Coffee, Lipton tea bags, creamer, sugar/sweetener, dish detergent, kitchen scrub sponge, and Neutrogena bath products (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, bar soap) are also provided. Housekeeping will check with you daily and will happily clean as much or as little as you like and also change out towels and linens and replenish supplies. The water heater produced plenty of hot water and the pressure was good (the finish on most plumbing fixtures is tarnished due to the marine environment, this didn’t ruin our day), the AC was strong and cold (there are also two ceiling fans downstairs and one in the bedroom), there are approximately 50 cable TV channels, and the WiFi was fast and stable. Security patrols the entire area by foot, golf cart, vehicle, and boat. This property also has a very important amenity, especially when staying anywhere in the Bahamas…some very big GENERATORS! The power was interrupted several times during our stay but no worries, the generators started within minutes and powered EVERYTHING in our unit and the entire resort! Regarding the area, the swimming pool, Tipsy Seagull Bar (there’s music and fun every night), and restaurants (Spinnaker, Bistro, Tipsy Seagull), are a 2-minute walk down either the dock or walkway. The resort has planned events for every day/night of the week. It’s a 1-minute walk to a well-stocked grocery store (Golden Harvest), liquor store, Cafe La Florence bakery, Triple J car rental, golf cart rental, bicycle rental, convenience store with extended hours, and other shops. It’s a 5-minute walk to Coco’s Beach Bar and Restaurant and the glorious crescent-shaped beach with its crystal-clear turquoise water and powdery white sand…the beach is truly a miracle of nature and a very special place. Everyone around the property was so very friendly and helpful and Stephen and Avis will take great care of you!”

“Our Dream Wedding – Perfect Parties at Treasure Cay Marina”

To anyone considering a wedding in Treasure Cay – do it!!! We had our dream wedding in Treasure Cay two weeks ago. I have to give a HUGE thank you to all the good folks at Treasure Cay Beach, Marina & Golf Resort – especially Avis Miller. Avis was my “wedding angel” – she helped me with so much I can’t begin to list it all. I honestly couldn’t have done it without her. We had 50 people fly to Abaco for a four day weekend – the logistics were more than a bit overwhelming, all during a very busy Spring Break & Easter weekend. Regardless, it all came off seamlessly. Truly my magical mermaid dream wedding to the man of my dreams.

A bit of background, I met my now husband in Marsh Harbor 7.5 years ago. I was on vacation with some girlfriends from Atlanta when he pulled up in a dinghy from his sailboat. Fast forward, we have spent all those years sailing around beautiful Abaco and the Caribbean (he proposed in Exuma last year on a 1000 nm/month long sailing trip with my two dogs). We love Abaco, a very special place w/ wonderful friendly people. We keep the sailboat nearby on Green Turtle, flying in every other month or so. We hope to buy a home on Treasure Cay sooner than later.

I love Treasure Cay, THE most gorgeous beach I know – in National Geographic’s Top 10 Most Beautiful in the World, #1 in the Caribbean. We got married at The Bahamas Beach Club (will give review shortly), but had the majority of our parties (three) at TCM. Started w/ a Welcome Cocktail at the Tipsy Seagull on Thursday. Even on the busiest Pizza Night I remember, the staff at TCM made the night special for us & our guests setting up a semi-private bar and hors d’ourves table.

The next night was our Rehearsal Dinner at Coco’s Beach Bar. Had about 25 family members on the patio for a classic Bahamian buffet. Chef Noel did a great job – the food was fantastic. Avis had the tables nicely decorated & a private bar set up for us. We had a Beach Bonfire for all our guests with drinks on the beach. It was a great night – tons of fun.

We concluded the weekend with a pig roast at Coco’s on Sunday. Avis & chef Noel really came through for us – sort of at the last minute, after we had to scrap plans to ferry everyone to Nipper’s – way too complicated and impossible on Easter Sunday. Worked out so much better to have it at Coco’s. Again, the food was great (an actual roasted whole pig, not just pulled pork), decorations & tables on the side patio were perfect. The day was casual & fun – just what we wanted.

I really can’t say enough about TCM and especially Avis. About half our guests stayed there and really enjoyed it. Rooms aren’t super fancy, but bright & comfortable. (Note: Some are on marina side with water views. Others face lobby and shops including mid sized grocery & liquor store as well as bike & golf cart rentals). Also know TCM is a 10 min/$10 cab ride to Treasure Cay Marina, 45 min/$80 cab to Marsh Harbor Airport. Ferry to Green Turtle Cay is a quick cab ride. Good for a nice day trip.

THANK YOU Avis…you helped me keep my sanity during a very stressful time (many months of planning) for what happily turned out to be truly my dream wedding.

Great Place!

“What a great place! Better than the photos showed. Lots of space and right on the beach! It was a little too chilly for the pool but it was a great layout and next time we come we’ll be using it lots! Thanks for a great time!”

About Avis and Desk Staff

“My husband and I wish to express our sincere appreciation for how kindly Avis helped us while at the resort. Not only did she help us with all requests upon arrival, but she especially helped us in any manner she could when we had to leave a week early due to a family emergency. Avis went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of at the time. In addition, the other desk staff we’re very sensitive to our situation and needs. The one main item we’ll always remember about our vacation to Treasure Cay is the wonderful people we encountered.”

The Gorgeous Beach

“Treasure Cay consistently gives excellent value for its price. The gorgeous beach, apartment-style hotel rooms, adjacent food store, multiple restaurants and friendly staff make this resort almost impossible to match.”

Very Attentive Staff

“TCB Resort was all I could have hoped for — very attentive staff, from the check-in (Avis!) to the maids to the restaurant staff. The 2-story units were absolutely lovely, with 2(!) full bathrooms and a spectacular view of the cove, the beautiful flowers and the marina, all from a fully-furnished patio.”

What a Perfect Getaway!

“What a perfect getaway! My room overlooks a beautiful marina full of sealife, turtles and beautiful boats, one yacht is more than 100 feet long! Full fridge, kitchen upstairs loft.”
